Restoration Road
Our Restoration Road show airs on the new Magnolia Network on discovery+ streaming online and now also on the Magnolia channel on cable TV, Tuesday nights at the following time:
- 9:00 pm EST
- 8:00 pm CST
- 7:00 pm MST
- 6:00 pm PST
Restoration Road features more than the refurbishing of old structures, it takes historic American buildings, abandoned and left behind, and moves them to new locations where they serve new purposes.
On Restoration Road, we explore and restore simple one-room settlers’ houses all the way up to grand Greek Revival mansions, along with barns, mills, and outbuildings from the 1700’s to the early 1900’s.
Not only do we explore the stories and skills of the people who lived in these homes and worked in these buildings centuries ago, we also tell why they journeyed to and settled in these locations. And along the way, we also meet with people who grew up in these buildings in modern times and hear their memories of them.
